Selecting the most appropriate magnet for your application without face to face communication, is very difficult.

Our 27 Years experience in the magnet industry has taught us the questions most asked when selecting a magnet.

The following table of questions has been designed to ensure the magnet you select is the most appropriate.

Is the magnet required:

  1.  A holding magnet
  2.  A repelling magnet
  3.  Used to separate steel pieces
  4.  Need to be strong for its size
  5.  Particularly weak
  6.  Inexpensive
  7.  Magnetised through its length
  8.  Have a hole for mounting
  9.  Operate above 80 degrees C
  10.  Operate reed or hall effect switches
