This 304 grade stainless steel mesh is suitable for bush fire areas however it can develop stains especially in areas near the sea. The mesh has been tested by Unisearch (UNSW) at a temperature of 1,000 degrees Celsius

316 grade stainless steel mesh is available at an additional cost.
